I have been a Spanish educator for over 20 years focused on creating collaborative environments for learning. During the last decade, I became an advocate for Open Educational Resources and Open Pedagogies which has resulted in me becoming the project lead of the Spanish OER Initiative and my enrollment in the Ed.D. program at Athabasca University. This year (2018-2019) I am also the president of the Canadian Network for Innovation in Education (CNIE-RCIÉ).
